Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri on Thursday granted the Nigerian Air Force request.

Diri granted request for land to build a new residential quarters for the NAF Mobility Command in the state capital.

The governor acceded to the requests when he received the new Air Officer Commanding Mobility Command of the Nigerian Air Force, Yenagoa, Air Vice Marshal Iboro Etuk-Udoh, in Government House.

Diri, who charged Etuk-Udoh to consolidate on the gains already recorded in the area of security of the state. Consequently directed the airport management to commence integrating special air force personnel to ensure the airport was made safer.
