Eleven Africans, among them two Nigerians, who have been named Young Global Leaders by the World Economic Forum for 2021, are to benefit from the Aliko Dangote Fellowship.

A statement issued by a media relations official of Dangote Industries Limited, Francis Arowole-Browne, on Tuesday explained that the Africans were part of the 112 youngsters from across 56 countries honoured for leadership and service to the society by the WEF.

While announcing the winners, the WEF confirmed that the African YGLs would benefit from the Aliko Dangote Fellowship, made possible by the Aliko Dangote Foundation.

According to the ADF, the aim of the fellowship is to increase the quality and quantity of young African leaders by supporting the engagement of African YGLs in the community.

The YGL award, WEF said, “is to recognise and create a platform for a dynamic community of exceptional people with the vision, courage, and influence to drive positive change in the world.”
